SOFT plastic!!!
What do you recommend for glue?
What do you use for filler?

Look under the defination for short run and this kit isit.
Thanks

I've wanted to build this kit for a long time, but Mach 2's reputation scared me off.

For glue I would use a gap filling CA glue, for filler probably Squadron white putty. I like the Vallejo putty, but not for major filling jobs.

Good luck Steve, if it's any help Floating Drydock has plans in 1/48 for sale:

You could try MEK styrene cement but make sure you follow the safety instructions.

If you do use MEK, tape the parts together then run the MEK along the join. Once it has formed a strong bond, fill any gaps with CA.

The Mach 2 LCVP was enough to make me swear off any more Mach 2 kits but I was tempted by the LCT.

Let us know how you get on.
