I had high hopes for this project but they have gone now I know I they are using decals for zimmerit

A pain in the you know what to apply...and until someone shows me a successful application over a compound curve eg kugelblende thingy, I shall remain unconvinced

Hoping to be proven wrong

Is it flat like a decal? or does it have texture?

From the photos they appear to be flat, i. e. useless.

How is it any improvement over Cavalier or Atak?

probably similar the 3D resin printed decals that are in the Takom Tiger and the aftermarket sets made by Def and in the Academy Tiger I.

Is fabulous. I have bought 3 sets for the Tiger and Sturmtiger and it is fantastic. So easy to use, and complicated areas like the mantlet, come in 5 parts and it looks fabulous when done. Also used the Tamiya zimm sets, which is more problematic......it has to be cut out, unlike the def models ones which are pre-cut, and the Tamiya ones are harder to bend or shape. I would recommend the def models ones to everybody.
