I got these pics off the facebook page for the last unit I served in, in BAOR; 7 Armoured Workshop, in FAllingbostel.

I wasn't involved in this but I suspect that the M7 was being towed out to the ranges at Hohne for use as a target...thre was always as 'stock' of hulls waiting to be taken out, such as M42 Dusters, some Comets (I think) and some other stuff that I can't remember now:

Thank Graeme! Cool picks!!! Must be sweet heading out to the Armor Garden and picking some ripe ones right out of the field and then blasting them!! Some great chipping on this old one!!! Thanks for sharing!!
