Hello:
I would like to show my latest model build: KV-2 Model 1940
Is Trumpeter’s model.  Its a very good model: cheaper with fine details. I used the followings aftermarket sets:
-Aber photoetched, turned gun and drag rings
-Masterclub white metal tracks

I detailed the fume extractor

The Masterclub white metal tracks give an outstanding detail but are too heavy for the supply pins. It breaks very easily. I don’t recommended it and for future models I’ll used the same reference but on resin.

I added a detailed welding lines and new handles made with cooper rod.

Also added a hand-made tarpaulin cover with epoxy putty.  Also a pair of cleaning bars for the huge M-10T gun made with plastic rod.

This the appearance before painting:

I hope you liked it. Any commentary is welcome.

Yep - with some TLC those Trumpeter KVs are wonderful kits - nicely detailed and a realistic part count.

Your model looks really smashing, Cristobal.

Nice build.....always something cool about the KV series...KV2 was pretty much a disaster in combat, but a really great looking beast....how'd you the Masterclub.I tried a set for Wespe project still in the build phase, and have to be honest, I'm sticking with Friul's in the future.
