Israeli Army vehicle kits

Having built most things Allied and German, WWII to present day I've decided to make 2012 an Israeli year and am looking for good kits and accessories of IDF vehicles. Apart from Cromwell can anybody recomend any good manufacturers of kits (plastic or multi media) of Israeli vehicles/equipment as my knowledge of this subject is very limited.
Thanks in advance for your help

Model Miniature has a bit of everything from AFV to figures and decals:
http://model-miniature.perso.sfr.fr/

Modeltrans also has a few IDF models (see items 722**):
http://www.modelltrans.de/artikel/index ... ction=seek

Blackdog has not only models but also stowage:
http://www.blackdog.cz/t72.html

And of course if you want to by all of these on the same place you have T&T:
http://www.tracks-n-troops.eu/shop/inde ... eyword=IDF

If you can get hold CPl Overby has the M50/M51

Orion and Ceaser have plastic figures.
Elhiem, UnderFire, Combat Miniatures and Liberation have metal figures
And there is one that has resin and metal figures but I can't recall the name sorry.[edit Friendship models under the WEE range]

Hope this helps

Revell do a fairly nice Merkava Mk III, Ace does a Tiran 4/5 & 6 (T55 & T62 hulls respectively) and CMK do a Magach 7A conversion for Revell's M-60 as well as an IDF Hummer conversion. Italeri do a Merkava Mk I, but it needs some help with respect to tracks and road wheels.

Also possible in IDF markings would be ACE or PST PT-76, as well as RPM's Staghound.

Good luck, and please post any pics you have of your builds. We'd love to see them.

Cheers,

Wayne

Dont forget the myriad conversions of the M3 Halftrack!

How do you like a bit of scratch building!
