hi all
I found these photos which shows the oryginal resin conversion.
was this tank a M4 of an US or French unit?
which unit converted it and is any story available about it?

The tank has none of the usual French markings

...on this particular modification, some time ago and I thought it had been asserted that it was an American tank of the 3d Armored Division, in France. I wish I could remember more. HTH, Dave

The site has a number of pictures of various 3rd Armored Division vehicles. It credits the 7th Armored Division for some reason.

There are other pictures of 3rd Armored M4's with similar turret applique. Notably some of an M4A3 75mm (W) with a similar set up in Cologne.
