How can I safely strip Tamiya acrylic paints from some of my models? Hopefully with out any scrubbing and breaking of small parts. Will it remove the decals as well?

Windex will strip the paint. I don't know of any way to save the decals.

I'll get a gallon tomorrow. And I don't really care about the decals.

1-2 tablets into warm water in the sink for the night = 1-2 models cleaned from paint (but not primer!). Not agressive to photoetch/metal barrels.
