... and as Benjamin said, if you look at Live Resin or Tank, check their versions of the M240 (that's the US designation) for something comparable. You may also see it listed as MAG-58.

Cheers,

If you need just the MAG, Dragon have a few one (very nice) in a figure set (modern US marines one) or a weapons set (modern machine guns).
If you need it with mounting system, have a look in Legend Preductions sets for IDF ones.
Live resin have a few excellent sets with mounting system but from memory the machine gun is the USMC version.

Hopes it's help a bit

Thanks guys, but I've looked at the live resin, dragon and even pinching ne ut of my AFV Club Stryker, but they all have the perforated cooling jacket and as you can see in my picture I need one without

TANK Model looks like it might be an option though...

The Pintle I can scratch, but I'd rather not have to scratch a 1/35 MG if I can help it. I've done it before and its not my idea of fun

Nw to find a Tank one in stock. I wish they had considered google searching when they named the company lol

Has anyone used the trumpeter bushmaster set that comes with an M240, and whats it like?

Chris

Hi Chris
Legends do this exact set up in their IDF weapons set:

You just need to slice off the butt stock.

There are two GPMG/MAG 58 on the Tamiya SAS Land Rover but be aware they are pink!

As a collector of all things IDF, I have four sets of those! ALL the Mags arrived with either warped or broken off barrels! Just letting you know! Also, the parts are (IMHO) very small compared to what I think the real ones should look like. They are VERY brittle as well. At least the ones that came with my PUMA and Magach conversion were. I ended up using the old Verlinden set for my Magach.

If you have a set of old Dragon's IDF paratroopers you have a MAG in!
This one which is the same present in Modern USMC set is from far the best FN MAG available.
Tank has a set that looks a resin copy of the Dragon FN MAG but you have 4 in the set.
I really hopes that Live Resin will produce a set.
