Thats very debateable... I would post your opinions on the Allied page where you might get some better info on this "lousy" tank. BTW... There are recounts where Grants literally blew to pieces PzIIIs and IVs and Rommel himself was very concerned when they started showing up Cheers Mark

That the British had when it arrived in the desert.
For the first time they had a big gun which could deal with the anti-tank guns. It wasn't perfect but it was a decent tank for the short period before the Sherman arrived.
