are there any masks or decals available for making the barrel markings on firefly barrels?

I have used Silly Putty for similar masking problems. Works great.

I tried using the blade of a steak knife, which I laid on top of a strip of Tamiya tape. I ran an Xacto blade along the knife blade, and I got a perfect wavy masking tape line.
Here's what I ended up with;



It was quite easy to do, and this is on a 1/48 kit. Different knives will give different patterns.

You can also use a pair of scerrated craft scissors to scallop the tape.
