Looking nice Olaf!

Really interesting scheme and very brave to show it in its shineyness - look forward to seeing it progress.

Hi David,

It won't be shiny for too long, I hope. Weathering commences tomorrow; let's see how much I can get done over Half Term.

Cheers,

Olaf

Beautiful project Olaf! Do you plan to leave an aspect of gloss or satin to contrast nicely with the weathering, dust, etc.? It is a sharp project, realy looking forward to more.

I'll see what it looks like after the weathering, and then I'll consider the flat coat.

Hey Chris,

The last ones lasted until the early '80s, when they were replaced by Leopard 2A4NL tanks. The one I'm doing is a '60s one with some upgrades. 101 TkBat was the only unit allowed to play around with camo like this, so photos are rare, colour ones even more so, and I had to make some guesstimates.

Cheers,

Olaf

Great looking Centurion, Olaf

I wasn't aware of 101 TkBat freedom to paint their tanks differently, a Leo2 in the late '80s in spotted camouflage being another example?
I look forward to see your weathering and gradual toning down. One detail which slightly troubles me is the light blue in the national colours, this isn't by any chance a Luxemburg Centurion is it?
