I'm building Dragon's very nice Panzer 4J Final at present.Does anyone who has built this kit have a method for removing the schurtzen retaining straps from Dragon's folding mold withou damaging them? Mine are stuck fast! Many thanks,Murray McLennan

Murray,

I had to use a 6" steel ruler to push on one end to slide them out. Try it and see how you make out.

Regards,

Tom

Thanks for the tip Tom!I used a small cylinder(paintbrush handle) gently pushed down between the lips of the mold,it spread them just enough to let the brass drop out without damaging the mold! Cheers,Murray McLennan

Hello

I'd be interested to know how you get on with mounting the schurzen onto the hull.

I intend to tackle this kit but am not sure how to fix the mounting brackets in the right area of the mesh skirts?

Richard

There's a template printed in the instructions for doing this. It works fine as I've used it myself.
