Just think, with this release you could actually have a few tanks on one 8x10 base.
With some jungle to boot. Try that with a Tiger.(no jungle though)

They make a kit of this right? Is there something wrong with it?
Just curious...

with fit that isn't the greatest and some soft detail. It can still be made into a very nice model but a new one is definitely needed.

It really is not that great. Nothing major "wrong" with it, but it is pretty simplistic and there is some really poor fit and molding on the hull parts. Really just the quality of molding and engineering used back then. Some of the detail parts are also reproduced in white metal and they are not that good. In some ways the detailing on the old Tamiya 70s Type 97 is better/sharper. And the kit rubber band tracks are not very well done even for rubber band style. Definitely a kit that can be improved upon, given the quality of Tamiya's Type 2...

I was contemplating a marine Sherman driving past one of these wrecked...
Since a new one is coming out maybe I can get the fine molds cheap?

maybe we should wait and see what Dragon's offering looks like before putting all our Fine Molds Type 95's on Ebay?
