Just tried to create an account - failed 3 times! Perhaps it's me, or perhaps it's the system.
Looks like it's time to take this site off my favourites list.

Hi Bill

I'm sorry to hear that. What exactly was the problem? Most people are reporting as being able to sign-up immediately with no problems. If you would prefer, I can email you and you can give me your chosen log-in details in confidence and I could have a go from this end.

Best wishes

Just tried twice- it says I can't use non alpha numeric characters in my log-in name- but I'm just using my name. I'm using a Mac and Explorer; these sometimes cause problems at commercial sites (I have to use Netscape for Red Lancers).

Mike, before grabbing for the hammer to fix things, I tried compressing my log-in name to one word. An empty space would seem to be considered an non-alpha-numeric character.
Once I found a non-already-used combination,
I was in.

It always works on the computer at the warehouse.... Thanks, Ron! Forgot how literal these machines are. No problem now.

It worked - I now have an account! Didn't need a hammer either.

Hi Bill

I just want to check that you also joined the Missing-Lynx members group; not just created a N54 account. I'm afraid it takes an extra two seconds, but it will mean that you will be able to post from now on.

Just follow this link: http://www.network54.com/Group/76465 and it should be straightforward. Any problems at all, you can e-mail me on:
