Hey all! Ok, I'm looking for any reference pix that show checkpoints in Bosnia. Can have armour in it, but doesn't have to. And, anything with Legionnaires in it, would be eternally helpful!

Dio will consist of: Legionnaires manning a checkpoint, with a URAL 4320 stopped for inspection.

Thanks in advance!

Not quite what you had in mind, this URL link has a "KFOR, control post".

URL: http://www.royhaaland.net/leopard1/gallery/index.html

This will take you to the Leopard 1 Gallery of Roy Haaland's Web Site. Click on: "Launch gallery"

Scroll down and near the bottom of the gallery is the "KFOR, control post".

Thanks Barry! Very interesting. I'm thinking along those lines, so it's a good start. My checkpoint won't have as much around it, as I'm thinking of it being a random "weapons inspection" checkpoint. I'll probably have either a VBL or VAB sitting there, providing "cover". We'll see...

Again, thanks!

Here's the title of the Concord book I mentioned.
"Peace by Force, Elite Forces of the IFOR"
Concord Publications #4020
It shows the different sectors, especially the French sector which I think you want.

Thanks Pete! I've got that book, and it does have a lot of sweet pix of French troops, especially of their VBL's (which I ordered Coree's VBL from GMWS, today)

Thanks for looking, I really appreciate your help!
