I got the African version of the kit. Looks pretty nice and like a weekend build. Quality wise it is not a recent Bronco Staghound regarding the finesse of the parts, no PE, side walls are really thick, etc. But I am sure it will look nice at the end. Will keep you posted about it.

p.s. Staghound Mk.I also arrived. Killer model, love the new turret and rockets. Will start building it soon!

Roman,

Looking forward to seeing what you are going to do with that new Stag.

As for the Demag, you are correct not a brillant but a decent kit. Lets see if/when I have little spare time to share images of how mine is going...

I will post my images of Demag later today or tomorrow when I will finish the build.

As for Mr. Stag - my blogspot says that some people found my blog by writing in google "staghound roman"

Well...I am a bit disappointed with it after all. Will post pictures later today or during the weekend. The Jerry cans are for the garbage bin.

I think my kit (have not built it yet) came with plastic and resin cans.

Maybe you ordered it from Gaso.line store? They were offering special bonus for 1st 50 clients.
I got my copy for review from Armorama.com.

Otherwise a somewhat sub par kit for 2012 standards. Not bad but not great. On the other hand it seems fairly easily buildable.

Mr. Stag,

Regarding the Demag, well done, I think better is to build it straight and ignore the many issues the kit has to become an accurate replica (if that is possible) because it does't actually look that bad OOB and it will show it's sweetest side after a good paint job in your hands. As for mine I reworked some areas, but even so, there are many others to improve I gave up, that it may look a bit better unpainted but not much more at the end.

As for your victims for the Tamiya GB, to have generous modeling friends is a good thing. .
