Any recommendation on books on the Panzerfaust/Panzerschreck? Books shoukd be in English and concentrate on the development, testing and engineering aspects (i.e. I am not looking for combat chronicles).

Osprey Weapon Series - Panzerfaust and Panzerschreck by Gordon Rottman (2014) is the only current book I know of. It's about 2/3 development, 1/3 use.

There are also:
Almark - Field Rocket Equipment of the German Army 1939-45 by Terry Gander (1972)
Schiffer - Panzerfaust and Other German Infantry Anti-Tank Weapons (1994, translated from Waffenarsenal's Deutsche Panzernahkampfungsmittel 1917-45)
but most of the information and photographs are also in the Osprey book.

For some nice colored drawings Of Pzfaust and Schreck there is "WW2 German Field Weapons & Equipment." KR Ward. 2014. ISBN 978-1-909384-44-6.

Lots of nice 3D computerized drawings of various mines, which I haven't seen before. He also has a book out on Soviet Field Weapons, too.

...for the tips! It is quite surprising that there are no really thorough books on these very significant weapons...
