Does anybody know if Barrel Depot run a website or has an e-mail address for enquiries? I am looking for the French CN-75-50 barrel in 1/35th scale, but all major webstores (Lucky, HobbyEasy, HLJ and so on) have it no longer in stock. It's the gun barrel used on Israeli M50's and the AMX-13/75.

They have it listed as new! However, I have never ordered from them before!

About items they listed that nobody else carried. If/when I did get a reply, it was over a week after I initially inquired, and in both cases, they no longer carried the item either.

Hi Mark, and the others,
thanks for all the advice. I also have bave bad experiences with the guy(s) from Red Frog, so I'll bypass them. I've compared the L/70 Kwk 42 Panther gun with the CN75-50 and they look very similar, which is of course not so strange as the CN75-50 is a further development of the Panther gun. But what is the difference between the muzzle brakes of the Panther and the AMX-13? I have one (albeit scratched by bad handling) Barrel Depot CN75-50 but it looks very similar tot the L/70 Kwk 42 by Aber/RB.

that is why you dont need a Panther barrel but a non muzzle braked one suitable for Panther 2 or JPz4, then add the brake from a heller AMX13/DML M50 or sctarchbuild one as I did

I was planning to just use the L/70 without the muzzle brake and use the AMX-13/75 muzzle brake. One question though... the L/70 is 70 calibers long, isn't that too long? Wouldn't a 7,5 cm L/48 come closer to the 50 calibers of the CN 75-50?

Thanks for the advice, I contacted them right away.
But, sadly it seems the CN 75-50 is completely OOP and out-of-stock everywhere. This was the reply from The Barrel Store:

"Barrel Depot is the only manufacturer of that barrel currently. We use to carry the product line but have discontinued it. If you find it somewhere on-line, buy it as quick as you can because nobody can seem to get the products anymore.

Sorry for the bad news."

I am no way affiliated with the Barrel Store, but they are really friendly and respond very quickly to questions per e-mail!
