I want to scratch build the gun assembly and shields to go on the Alan base and trailer...

I have come up with two or three photos of the complete gun but not even a basic drawing. The gun itself seems fairly simple.

Thank you. It seems like a fairly easy product. I can use the overall lack of info to my advantage, and base some hard to tell details from other German guns like the FlaK 43.

It has always been a mystery to me how Alan could possibly have come up with the carriage for an experimental 5.5cm gun mated to the 8.8cm Pak 43, when there are so many "43"s still in museums and memorials, etc, in most cases with all or part of the appropriate SonderAnhanger.

David, I note that the Gerät 58 has only three supporting legs whereas the Alan kit has four.

Goog luck with the build.

I got an Alan 88 to part out. I was thinking of using the trailers on an 8.8 Flak as they seem to match some photos of late war set ups. However the trailers do not hook up to the Dragon kit without work (I was lazy). But making the top part of the FlaK gun to use the Alan platform does not seem too hard.

Dragon's old Hummel was not horrible... just very sparse and basic. The Alan 88 is just fictional. Even the old Dragon Nashorn is better than the Alan PaK 43 and that kit is pretty bad.
