AMX 13 Tracks - aftermarket?

Other than the Accurate armour resin set, does anyone else offer a set of aftermarket tracks for the 1/35 scale Heller AMX 13?

I've used the AA tracks in the past but now looking for an alternative.

Failing that, what other tracks might be a 'rough and ready' match (if any)?

Pz 38(t) tracks spring to mind but I haven't got a set to compare so I'm guessing

Thanks for your help.

John

They are probably "closest" but not real close and the width is not the same. To fit the Heller sprocket I think you need to narrow (?) the sprocket and remake the teeth in a different pitch.

despite the numerous comments about how close those tracks are to AMX13 ones, they are not correct.
Spade Ace have just released a set of metal (without the rubber pads) tracks suitable for an early tank.

Here is a link to a online shop to buy this set.

I'm in no way linked to this shop or Space Ace, just a happy modeler who dislike the Heller AND the AA tracks.

I had not seen the Spade Ace set yet. In addition to eBay you can buy the tracks from Hobby Easy, who also seem to have better prices.

Thank you all - I'll investigate the Spade Ace option but I really need the later track with rubber pads.

But they are much better to deal with than "Import Hobby" and their eBay front.

if you aren't in a real hurry,I can see a new AMX-13 and variants(hopefully)from the HB EBR-75 that has just been made available. They tend to capitalise on their investments........Dan

Hi,

I've recently purchased a set of white metal tracks for the AMX 13 on ebay.
The tracks are manufactured by a company named "Spade Ace" (Chinese?).
They look very decent and the price was OK (approx. GBP 20,-)

Regards,
Rainer

P.S.: I'm not related to the above mentioned company in any way ... (just to mention )

The AA and even Panzer 38 tracks wouldn't work for rubber tracks anyway as they are the earlier metal track also.
