Advice for using Gunze "Masking Sol"

Advice for using Gunze "Masking Sol"

I am going to attempt a "hard-edge" tri-color pattern with Gunze Masking Sol and although the instructions are in japanese, I assume you:

1 spray on your base coat
2 apply Masking Sol where you want that pattern to remain
3 overspray the second color
4 apply more Masking Sol
5 final color coat

But before I start would someone with experience offer some advice?
