I can't seem to find any info on this. Is it a repop or a new kit?

Cheers,

John

The consensus seems to be it is Italeri's (which is still a great kit):

Howdy John, from I can gather it is the Italeri M47 with the Academy "modern" upgardes i.e xenon searchlight. And of course it has the ROK decals. That is the extent of my knowledge on the subject.
Outta here, Mike sends . . .

Hi John,

I have the kit, and can confirm it has all the sprues from the Italeri M47 kit (still have the Italeri stamp), and the searchlight sprue from the Academy M48A5 kit, and new decals. The box does indicate it has parts from Italeri.

Cheers
Andrew

Andrew is 100% correct I picked the kit up and it is rather basic. IMHO you would be better served getting the DEF update/conversion. I am currently waiting for it to ship.

I have recently purchased the Academy offering of the M-47 as well. I have also contacted DEF models regarding the purchase of their detail parts, however, they have yet to advise me where I can purchase their wares.

Do you mind telling me where you found yours?

Respectfully,
Allen

I've purchased Def-Model from Lucky Model in the past.
