You know what I find to be hilarious? All the Reds fan sheep who think the Reds are somehow better than the Bengals.
Since the year 2000, the Reds have 3 winning seasons, out of 17. Three. And no playoff series wins.

Oh but Jo-eh Votto is god. Yep, he is. So is AJ Green. Doesn't mean shit.

Record vs AFC Playoff Teams: 32 wins, 116 losses (0.216)

The way the Cardinals curb stomp the Reds annually is similar to how the Steelers crush the Bengals every year. Maybe not quite as hard, but it's tougher to dominate in baseball as a great team will win maybe 60-ish percent of its games.

Looks like I was wrong on my over/under on Price firing.  I only missed by 17 days (+ or - 5 days from May 15).  Oh well - looks like the Reds are in for a lot longer rebuilding phase than anyone can even comprehend.  Can't begin to put an over/under on that - we might be talking many years.  Right now this team is so bad a number of triple A teams could beat them.

They Reds are so bad, I predict they break the all time losing record during a single season.

They really have nothing, not even Votto who is hitting 0.200.

Perhaps they should take up lacrosse.

Right now the Bungs are better, which is hard for me to even form words to say.

I did some checking and found that during the 30's the Reds lost 94 or more games 5 times and the most they ever lost was 101 in 1982.  So maybe another over/under of 101 +or - 5 might be in order.  I'll take the 101 +5 , this team has the potential to be really bad as the entire organization is in disarray similar to the Shula era with the bungs.  Might be years before they're competitive again.

So now we have the Reds who are where the bungs were in the early 1990's.  This town truly is Siberia now and you can throw UC in the mix now.  If it took the bugs 12 years to when they got a team that could approach .500 it looks to be at least that long for the reds to get there about 2030 or so at least.  Some of us here might not live to see even a .500 team.  Lord knows what the bungs will do this year - doesn't look good there either with mikey and co. at the wheel.

Why would you fire your manager this early in the season? Jesus. That is so Anti-Mike.

Like I said before Bob C and mikey have been seen at some of the local bars (Holy Grail for ex.) having lunch and maybe even holding hands.  Maybe it's possible some of mikey's ideas have rubbed off on Bob.  Wouldn't be surprised.

Freeze, I can't speak for everyone, but I thing the spirit of this board was not just a wins loss thing, but a win loss think with Mike Brown telling us to lap it up because he is not changing anything.  The Reds at least will change out GM's (that's right, they have real GM's)  Say what you want about Jocketty, but he had real accomplishments before he came here.

Despite the NFL's efforts at parity, Mike Brown has never fielded a team that was a serious contender for winning the SB.  The Reds, for all of baseball's flaws, still managed to field a couple teams in the past 20 years that had a reasonable chance at winning the WS.

Its not the record that separates these two organizations.
