I have seen enough that Palmer is no longer needed on this team. Dalton is a much better athlete and seems to be picking things up despite being a rookie. The side shows of yesteryear are gone and TO is still out of work and Ochostinko is barely hanging on at NE. It is time for Brown to trade Palmer. Hopefully he will come to his senses and do so.

Carson just has to show up.
As long as he is sitting there, dumb azz will not move on it, but if he walks in right now, with all of the buz (in cinci) around Dalton, Mikey would have to trade him to protect the team from a complete meltdown.

That's long been the speculation that Carson would in fact show up...but only when it suited him. If he wants out of dodge vs. retiring, he may want to really consider appearing soon because what if Dalton gets injured again soon...then he loses the leverage. Show up when there's a shine on the new kid...then the team will insist you ship Carson off.

Again, you're assuming that Mike Brown is a real NFL general manager. While what you said is common sense to most of us, MB would rather have two QBs and would just keep both until Carson really does retire after seasons end.

There is more credidability with this offense. Marvin was stuch with Brat before he got here. Is Brat working? New QB

It is depressing watching the Jets have success.

.....PAYING ATTENTION?!??!?!?!?

The homerization here on this site is incredible. The Bungles play 2 god-awful teams close--and you people are all ready to stand in line for season tickets.

Palmer will not come back. He despises MFB. He won't be back. And besides--WHY WOULD YOU if you were Palmer? Mike Brown is a pain in the f*cking azz. A major headache. Migrane. And won't get it. Besides, Palmer has made his millions and is laying on a beach in So Cal right now.

Even though there are tons of teams that need a QB--Palmer won't get within 100 miles of PBS. I'm almost guarantee'ing that.

I was saying that if Mike brown had any brains he would trade Palmer now rather than risk paying him $11 Mill or so to stand around for the next 14 games or so. Get some salvage value for him now. As for this year's team - the first 2 games were against poor opponents but they won one more game than I thought they would. Obviously they will still have a losing season but they will be more competitive in the losses than I otherwise thought. If they lose to San Fran than my original 2-14 prediction will still stand.
