All they can do is stash him until his contract is gone or expendable, and view him as a major bonus when he's on the field, meanwhile draft another OLB or MLB that isn't just fodder. I've never seen a defense so held-back by a weak LB and SS group. Not one outstanding player at either position - and Iloka is competent enough, but nothing special as well. Of course this is a result of an operating philosophy that devalues "up the middle" positions such as LB, G, C, S and LB historically.
