At first I was wondering wtf they were thinking but for them its very little risk with a chance at some reward, the Bengals took all the risk, wasted a 2nd round pick, wasted a roster spot for 5 years and had to endure the embarrassment of the idiot getting busted for having weed mailed to his own house lol

And what did they get in return? one top ten play of the week LMAO!!!!!!!!

At least he got out of Siberia but the bungs got 0 for him. At least we probably know why he was so slow to catch on here and learn the playbook - too much weed.

Hard to say who was more wasted, the Bungs or Simpson. LOL

At least they cut their losses and moved on. It wasn't so long ago that ownership would never let a player go who showed any potential. Now they need to follow through and not draft another project in the early rounds.

It's one thing to bring on these "projects" but to get them to handle themselves professionally is another. To do what Father Flannigan aka Mikey did you would have to expand the front office and hire some baby sitters.

I bet he doesn't make it through a whole season, Bengals will pick him back up after he's cut

Glad he is gone.
He might grow up one day and get it and turn out to be a decent player, but that is a very big MIGHT.
Just another dip sh!t that helps the roster by not being on it.

Plus it enhances the chance of Floyd being in stripes if he is on the board.
