Is a bad one. Michigan getting beat by SC - their QB isn't worth a sh!T and he'll be selling insurance soon. Balt of course got torched by the bungs yesterday. Happy New Year to the Harbaughs.

Here's an article from ESPN about how the Bungles defied the odds against John Harbaugh. To summarize why the outcome was so surprising.

- Baltimore went into the the game with 97% odds of making the playoffs They only needed one of three things to happen on Sunday to get in: (1) Titans lose, (2) Bills lose, (3) they themselves win.

- The moment before Andy Dalton threw the winning touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd, the Ravens had a 94.3% chance of winning the game.

- "Over the past decade, teams had converted only 18.2 percent of the time on fourth downs of 12 yards or longer (75-of-412)."

- In his previous NFL career, Dalton had only thrown one other TD pass with less than a minute to play.

- As a pro, Boyd had never caught a pass -- any pass - for longer than 30 yards.

- "Baltimore is one of the best when it comes to closing out teams. ... Over the past 25 weeks, Baltimore has only allowed winning touchdowns in the final minute twice." The other time was Christmas night last year against the Steelers.

But Dalton connected with Boyd to dash the their playoff hopes. Thus the worst regular season loss in Ravens history came to pass.

Not a great way to end a Holiday weekend for the older Harbaugh brother. For the younger Harbaugh brother, he was the only Big 10 coach to lose a bowl game this season.

It's weird. These guys seem to have some interstellar connection where they both have the same kind of bad days on the same weekend. Just strange family. LOL

This isn't the 1st time this has happened either...where they both have bad days in the same weekend. It's happened often too. Neither seems like they can get a break. John does have a ring. Jim needs more time at Michigan...but sheesh.

Seriously psycho, that ending seemed more like a video game ending than a real life one, especially when taking into consideration that the Bengals are the Bengals, something that a video game truly could not grasp. Again, if it were Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady or Big Ben or even Eli Manning it would have just seemed clutch, but Andy and the Bungs made it seem more like a miracle.

Only other game that I got that vibe from was the playoff game where Flacco threw that bomb down the sidelines to beat Manning era Denver. Again, just did not seem real (no one completes that pass in real life lol).

Just a brutal loss for John Harbaugh.

It was a bad loss for Balt but that's football. I don't hold near the same degree of animosity for Balt than I do for Pitt or NE. Actually if they made the playoffs and they faced either NE or Pitt I would definitely root for Balt.
