Copied from a different board; I haven't posted in a while here, but thought I would post this, from everything I can find within the modern era of the NFL Marvin Lewis passed Jim "Playoffs?!?!" Mora for most NFL games coached without a win.

Jim Mora coached 231 games (2 teams) with a record of 125-106 over 15 years with 6 playoff appearances and 0 wins

Marvin Lewis has now coached 232 games with a record of 121-108-3 over 15 years with 7 playoff appearances and 0 wins

list of coaches https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_N ... ad_coaches), Marvin's isnt updated with this years games.

Maybe they were waiting until he had the record before firing him

Mike Brown will give the man a piece of his mind and a stern talking-to, right before he gives him a 3-year contract extension.

Too bad mediocrity is good enough in Cincinnati. At least it took the Reds multiple playoff failures to fire Dusty, but the Bungs, particularly Mikey, accept the same ol' same ol' and it's gonna be that way till he kicks the bucket. Not a good time to be a Bungs fan.

Do you know how many people lived/died in the last 27 years as a Bungle Fan? Probably quite a few.

Not sure--but just saying.

Well, actually, strike the 27 year thing. LET'S JUST GO ALL THE WAY UP TO 50. WHEN HAS IT EVER BEEN A GREAT TIME TO BE A BUNGLE FAN?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?

No hardware. What--one HOF'er?

That's just terrible. Even the Aints and Cardinals have a better track record.

Mikey will never die. Even when he's dead he'll still be alive. He's Lord Voldemort from Harry Potter.

When Mikey can no longer drive his golf cart and put his own PJ Flyers on they'll buy him a two-wheel moving cart and roll him around like Hannibal Lecter.

See my post above...do you know how pathetic it is/was to be in Bungledom?

THE AINTS HAVE HARDWARE.

That's how pathetic.

Now the Bearcats suck in football...That was our last bastion of hope. Even HS football sucked this year and the beat goes on. Cincinnati is the new Siberia for sports teams at all levels (jury still out on UC basketball).
