Once again Dalton sucks, time after time.Kitna had a better arm than this guy
bumblers might as well trade AJ because as long as Dalton is QB you will never be able to utilize him

Again, if you gotta have a sub-par quarterback, Dalton is the kind to have:

Last week at Buffalo: 26 of 40 for 337 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT, QB rating: 105.9

This week at Detroit: 24 of 34 for 372 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, QB rating: 135.9

I was wrong in an earlier post about Dalton's QB rating. Need to find a better calculator...

Anyway, two competent performances in road victories.

2 playoff appearances and a 5-2 record this year, QB rating over 90. ??? He still continues to get better and he is
by no means Jon Kitna.

LMAO

Andy was underthrowing today.

Can any of you Andy bashers explain this to me?

Let me guess....
#1 He has a weak arm.
#2 He has a pop gun arm.
#3 He is Jon Kitna

LOL

The first few weeks Andy was rushing his throws and over throwing AJ Green and others on deep balls.
Let me explain something to some of you who obviously have never thrown a ball in a real football game.
It is impossible to have "pop gun" arm and overthrow AJ Green people.
It is hard to out throw an NFL wideout with decent speed, let alone someone like Green that has a second gear when the ball is in the air.
Timing was off and he didn't put enough air under it many times, but arm strength was never the problem.

Yesterday he under throws a few passes....
Did you notice the release and the way the ball was thrown or did you just slam down your Zima and start screaming about his "pop gun" arm.

He was trying to guide the ball there instead of throwing it.
Again, nothing to do with arm strength.
They are working on his timing on the deep ball.

Dalton is a very good qb when allowed to play qb.
Yesterday Giggles didn't have a chance to play Giggles ball.
Faced a team that can score and simply has a freak of nature on their roster.
Blew another 4th qtr lead and got help from a horrible punt, but still won the game.
The offense had to keep up despite not being on the field that much, and they moved the ball and scored.

If the playoffs were to begin today, the Bengals would hold the #2 seed.

Not that that will hold up (it might not) and not that that precludes saying anything bad about Dalton at all (it doesn't) but let's be real: Dalton can only be SO bad and the Bengals be performing like this.

And I was easier on Kitna than most but to saying that he was on Dalton's level right now is absolute utter pure absurdity.

The team is 24-17 since he became starter, made the playoffs both of his full seasons and is now two games up on the rest of the division. And if you know the history of the franchise...I don't care what weapons he has and I don't care what the circumstances, there's only so "awful" Andy Dalton can be and yet that's all happened.

Dalton so far has been Mr. October. His last 2 games have been money. At least that's what the stats tell me.

I'm still trying to figure out how the Bungles almost lose both those games.

Answer.....GIGGLES!

Did you notice when the Lions coaching staff felt they got the shaft on a call and they went ape sh!t on the refs?

Bengals got the shaft on a few calls and Giggles did nothing.

You are never going to change the call, but your players need to see you fighting for them.
Show some fuching passion on the sideline and be a leader.

How many times are we going to run the ball to Ellis on first down?
How many fuching times are we going to throw the ball to Gresham for 1 yard....
6 games in a row we have accomplished that task.

Speaking of that fuching moron...
Why did he return to the field?
He should have been sent to the locker room after touching the ref, but no, Giggles keeps him in there and then moves on a short distance play and ruined another drive.

Anyway....
Dalton continues to get better.
Anyone that complains about Dalton right now is just being silly.

Got to give him credit, Murf. Coach Giggles had a good day against the Lions. Two successful challenge flags. Was aggressive when he needed to be. Played to win at the end of the game. Don't know what got into him, but he's a much better game-day coach then in years past.

If you were just half as generous towards Giggles as you are to the Red Popgun, he'd be up there in Belichick land.
