Another nice looking pickup for the Bengals from Buffalo. We just signed Preston Brown LB to a 1Year deal. He's from Cincy & spurned an offer from Buff to play in Cincy! You wouldn't have read that sentence back in the day. He tied with the lead in tackles last year & is always active. So he should be a great sidekick for Taz. Not flashy but durable & productive. Something we have been missing. So we fill an LT hole with a Bill & now an LB hole with a Bill & send our #2 QB to them to help fill their QB hole. This seems to border on ...dare a say the word...collusion! LOL This makes the draft interesting now. before the signing it looked like our draft prioroty should be OT, LB, C & S. The 1st to have been addressed. So I'm thinking they going C or G that can move to C #1. Unless a bad ass LB or T falls to us. Where was all this aggressive free agent action when we lost Big Whit & Z-Man? Well maybe believe it or not Giggles & Mikey might have learned a lesson from that clusster-F**k..
WHO-DEY!!!

I was so surprised to read this today. The Bengals signing a promising young free agent just coming into his prime and over another team no less. This free agency is going perfectly and then Burfict gets suspended. It’s not easy being a fan.

Meh.
PFF gaves him a meh grade. Seriously, go check it.
He's this year's version of Minter, who performed a whole lot worse in Cincy than he did the year before.

The Bengals now have an unbroken string of Free Agent LB pickups that so far has been a big fat string of nothing.

Maybe this guy is different, but I'm waiting until week 8 and actually good play before celebrating.

In reality, Preston Brown is a heck of an upgrade from really anyone the bungs would have backfilled the spot with on the current roster, Hardy Nickerson Jr, or Vinny Rey.  From what I recall, Brown is closer to a "pre-DUI" Rey Malualuga, a true Mike, not particularly great in space but a beast in the phone booth. HE is easily the best linebacker they have aside from Burfict, and they have a better chance of getting 16 games out of Brown.
