That sounds great, Storm. Mike Brown himself would be pleased with that price.

How big should the metal plate be to fit on the wood base? A finished plate can be sent through the mail easily. There are trophy shops everywhere. I could have it done and send it to you. Or if someone local would rather do it, that's fine. Maybe BMN would want to do it.

If we get a good price we could add more text. I would add just a bit more to your suggestion for the short version:

Psycho, I just put another coat on the plaque and football, tonight I will put it together and measure the size for the plate

Just put another coat of urethane on so won't be ready til tomorrow but should look sweet

size of the plates should be 4" x 6" should be 2 of them, top one read something along the lines of "MBS 100/200 award for futility" bottom "Mike Brown Owner Cincinnati Bengals slowest to 100 wins fastest to 200 losses"

Here is an early look, will use the plates to cover some of the blemishes but should come out ok

Maybe we should have the ceremony at Molly Malone's. We could invite Chris Perry and a few other ex-Bengals with an axe to grind to be part of it all. Being so close to downtown would make it easy to get live media coverage from reporters who haven't already been threatened by Marvin Lewis with ex-communication should they write something unflattering about our favorite mule-headed, miserly dullard.
