And... Bullock misses a long field goal attempt. So much for that.

Well, Bengals fail to score & miss the FG.  Remember that distance kicker we let go to the Eagles?

I have a feeling that FG could come back to bite them if the Panthers get a FG & the Bengals get a TD.

Yep. I was right. Glassjaw Cats. Glasgow carted off the field; doesn't look good (probably popped his knee).

You can't win with this many injuries and this many dumb penalties killing the few opportunities you get.

Even if they do somehow pull it off, will it have been worth it? We're one Eifert injury away from having to call in Bearcats players to fill the roster.

So, what was that you were saying about Dalton, psycho?

Well, that's the third turnover of the day.  The team is plagued by successive injuries.  The only thing that saved them was that unsportsmanlike conduct penalty by Cam Newton.  If they'd have gotten that FG, it would be over.

Alright.  Now they are well into FG range.  Barring a turn over, this thing is over.  The defense can't stop them.  I miss Zimmer.  He'd have been over the sideline chewing them out - doubt they'd have played like this.

That clock management at the end was horrific.  When in that situation, they might as well have tried some long passes.  That's your only hope.

31-21 Panthers, final.

This would have been a difficult game to win with a healthy roster. Being depleted like this, it's a wonder they finished within 10, and without any garbage time points.

We all know that they're losing next week in Atlanta. No Green. No Mixon. No Price. No Burfict.  No chance.

Dalton with throw a bunch more interceptions, too.

Katie, I agree with you about Zimmer. Neither Guenther nor Austin has had an answer for Newton, four years apart.

It was never going to be easy going to Carolina.  Its much more difficult without a Right Tackle, a Run defense and Dre Kirpatrick on your team.   Add John Ross taking up a roster spot in a desperate attempt to make the $10mil in dead cap space money for NEXT year not look so bad and it was always a recipe for disaster.
