Just now tuning in to Day 3 of the draft.  After the center in Round1 it was defense, defense, defense. Cripes. I see a running back slipped in there, too. Given that they already had Mixon and Bernard, meh.

I agree, Bengalbear. Where's the new QB and the other offensive tackle?

The bungs got logan Woodside for QB in round 7.  Rated as fairly good but not real great arm to make downfield throws.  Maybe like Dalton a little in that regard.  The bungs waited too long to get a QB to sub for Dalton and got a few too many db's and as you said maybe draft a G or T.  I'd rank the bungs draft as B-.

Should've drafted another offensive tackle and they didn't. Look forward to another year of Fisher or Ogbuehi sadly.

Here's the full list of picks, to save folks from looking it up.
.
Round 1     21 (21)        Billy Price C 6'4" - 305 lbs           Ohio State Offense
Round 2 22 (54) Jessie Bates S 6'1" - 200 lbs Wake Forest Defense
Round 3 13 (77) Sam Hubbard DE 6'5" - 270 lbs Ohio State Defense
Round 3 14 (78) Malik Jefferson   OLB   6'2" - 236 lbs Texas Defense
Round 4 12 (112) Mark Walton RB 5'10" - 202 lbs Miami Offense
Round 5 14 (151) Devontae Harris CB 5'11" - 205 lbs Illinois St. Defense
Round 5 21 (158) Andrew Brown DT 6'3" - 296 lbs Virginia Defense
Round 5 33 (170) Darius Phillips CB 5'10" - 193 lbs Western Michigan      Defense
Round 7 31 (249) Logan Woodside       QB 6'1" - 213 lbs Toledo Offense
Round 7 34 (252) Rod Taylor G 6'3" - 320 lbs Mississippi Offense
Round 7 35 (253) Auden Tate WR 6'5" - 228 lbs Florida St. Offense
.
Six of the first eight picks were on defense. They waited until the 7th round until they addressed backup QB and the O-line again. And they took a flier on another wide receiver, as if they weren't already stuffed with developmental guys at that position.

I don't see much to get excited about here.  Maybe a B- grade at best. More like a C+. After the No. 1 pick at center this was a yawner.

The quarterback, Woodside, has a game a lot like Andy Dalton's. He's accurate, throws with touch and anticipation, and gets the ball out of his hand quickly. Also has a tendency to throw INT's. Anyway, it makes sense to have a backup who plays the same style.

EDIT: Wasn't trying to ignore anybody. You guys posted while I was typing. Yeah, I left and came back to my post after getting distracted with something.

Reconsidering for a second... and referencing what has been said in this thread already...

This may be the draft that finally spells the end for both Adam Jones and Vontaze Burfict.  That would make it a memorable draft. Like, an A-, lol.

Burfict maybe hangs around for this season and is gone by the next. We can only hope.

It's too bad about Burfict.  A talented player but with personality disorders that will keep him from realizing his potential.  I'd have to call him a partial bust at this point.

OK--so I've noticed one thing about "Draft Grades" = nobody ever gets Flunked!

So...wouldn't you say that a D+ or C- = F?

I would. That means Mikey has flunked almost every year with the exception of TWO years in the past 28.
