i played it through the psp using an emulator for the megadrive version....tbh it was crap,

me and a few friends made a few trial mm games, same princial using 2d format, and using the structure of the 'new super mario bros wii', basically using the programming from there but change it all to what every you want, same as how you do custom mario kart and custom guitar hero games

we also done a rpg on using some random game as a base and just customising it(layout, design, skins etc),

they wasnt ever complete but now...i think i may start them up again

also on the jurassic park operation genisis game...i designed the skins of the visitors to be mighty max characters

for anyone wanting to play it now...
Fusion is the best pc/megadrive emulator out there imo, plays a few of all the old skool consoles

heres the free versions of the emulator and the whole game...
fusion... http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/ge ... usion.html

and the game... http://www.romnation.net/srv/download/r ... Max-U.html,

edit-
its simple to use... load up the fusion programme(starts as a static srceen), click file..then load 'genesis game', select your mighty max game, thats it play

this is quite embassing to post but heh,
i just found some old file and this is a screen shoot of a game made for touch screen tech....like ipad eg,

this is really old and this was the first ever gaming stuff i had ever done
the idea, was the crystal of souls has shattered so you have to collect the crystal shards that move around the screen,
there are also bonuses...max,felix,bea(in the pic) plus virgil and norman, thats appear randomly and are a lot faster to catch...but they're worth more points,

but beware warmonger is after you you touch him and it game over he also floats about,
to make it harder...he has his army of lava beast..... these a static so they dont move but every 2 seconds another one appears till the screen is full or you hit one

again i now it aint great but is was my first every game creating attempt, plus it was done in one night so a rushed job

That SNES/Genesis game is so awful I can't see anybody willingly doing a playthrough except for their youtube channel; even then it'd just be for "educational" purposes. Like how not to make a video game. The developers must've just had a vague knowledge of the cartoon, no knowledge of the toys, and utter disinterest all-around.

Yeah I got an emulator and downloaded the rom..I was brutally disappointed with many aspects of the game. It's slightly more challenging than I expected it to be, but once I got used to it, it was somewhat fun..Norman is as worthless as a football bat in the game, more often than not which is unfortunate..I still would like to nab a complete game with the comic/instructions still in it, but for little investment..I give it 3 out of 5 stars, and that's because at the very least, it's Mighty Max right?

I'm going to dig a few old posts :P

I bought recently the pal version of the adventures of mighty max (in Europe genesis called Megadrive ) in order to fulfill childhood unsatisfied desires.
I bought it CIB (complete in box) but the European version lacks the comic included in Genesis version :(

Unfortunately, the game...is horrible.Really.Even the most hardcore fan will feel frustrated between minutes...
Although I don't own the SNES version (i will buy it soon) I can tell you for sure the genesis/Megadrive has better sound and the SNES version more crispy, smoother graphics.

When season 2 of my youtube channel will begin, I plan to dedicate one episode for each console + review, gameplay, thoughts etc and a third episode for a VS countdown

So, stay tuned :)

The thing that amazes me the most about this game is the missed opportunity. It could (and should) have been SO great. Unfortunately it just reeks of quick cash-in.
