I started seeing emails from Mobius pop up in my inbox, and eventually figured out they were coming from a Tapatalk incarnation of Todd Harbour's (what ever happened to him?) long-thought-defunct Mobius Home Video Forum. Crazy. The old URL went defunct years ago, after years of declining post activity, so I thought the forum had given up the ghost. But it looks like it somehow got migrated to Tapatalk, and that there are four of us left, with Kim Greene doing almost all the posting. This forum and AVManiacs (formerly DVDManiacs, also defunct or on life support) used to be my go-to forums, but people gradually stopped posting there and I drifted over to Blu-ray.com and continued hanging out at the Classic Horror Film Board, which still manages to hang in there.

Other old Mobians I remember are Mark Wickum, Mike Presti, Marty McKee and Richard Harland Smith. Tim Lucas and Don May used to post here too. Ah, the good old days.

Kim and I do a lot of chatting back and forth, although much of it is about music or our personal lives. When Yi Lee is around, they comment on Asian cinema. But yeah, the main Mobius action has migrated to Facebook.

Yeah, it's just me and Mr. Erickson holding down the fort here, along with a couple of other folk, including Mr. Lee, (who drops us his always cool insider's look at behind-the-scenes in Asian cinema) who drop in every now and then. Don't know what happened to Todd---he hasn't posted here in just over a decade, while other folks just moved on after certain film trends died down, and some of the real die-hards moved to the Mobius facebook page. That sucks, but hey, I still like it here and the fact that it's nice and quiet here, and it's not overrun with trolls like practically every other dang site is nowadays, lol. I miss those old days here, too, but life goes the heck on.

I used to be over at DVD Maniacs, too, reading about crazy and sometimes obscure sci-fi,horror or spy films. It's amazing how the landscape of the internet has completely changed since I started posting on this forum back in 2001---before any social media like Facebook ("social media" wasn't even an existing term back then) even existed. But,yeah, feel free to pop in with observations of films and your own personal reviews of them. There's plenty of space for it,lol.

I stop by once in a while but it's mostly Kim and Steve.  Marty McKee, Brian Camp, Eric Billingsley, Wade Sowers, Robert Cashill, Lenny Moore, David Rosinger, Craig Blämer, Michael Blanton, William D'Annucci, Bill Picard and other oldtimers post frequently to the facebook group, which is still small enough to be cozy.  Unlike some other fb groups I belong to.  when you get up into the thousands of members, you get a lot of churn.
