You said one would 'lose' high beam - don't that fail a state's vehicle inspection?
I own a '99 Chevy Metro, '91 Geo Metros Vert, 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport, an '07 Jeep Compass, & a '03 Harley FXD - I try to be All-American, but got rid of the 2003 Ford Fukus.
....oh....I got a '90 Suzuki Swift that I'm restoring too.....

any more detailed updates on how to do this? Once i find some projectors at local pick and pull i'll be doing this! i found you posted on another forum with some more info.

was curious how you did the vacuum thing and how well they worked and what PVC pipe you used to cover as the "shield"..

love them though!

could you set this up lower in your bumper, disconnect your regular high beams, use your regular high beam wiring and you would have your regular low beams and the projectors for high beam??

I might want to offend you better in the future.

Honestly, I was thinking about running a set of Hella's in the front for my high beams.

I know it's kind of an old thread, but since I played a part in these headlights I think a good option for people wanting high beams still would be to go with an e55 bixenon projector. It has a solenoid that moves a shield up and down for low and high beam. So the low and high beam are all in one unit with one bulb fillament.

The local u-pull-and-pay has a bunch of 90's Lexus cars with what appear to be projectors. Will those work for this mod?
