Does anybody have any idea what the problem is with WRKL frequency and broadcasting in reference to the way it sounds?what type of work does it need? is the equipment outdated? can it be fixed? I appreciate any feedback.
thanks

Attention: Bob Heymann at Media Services Group. We've got a live one!

Clem, the kind of radio WRKL is doing requires minimal equipment in the studio. An ipod could do what WRKL is doing now. You also need a transmitter. And an antenna system, the physical towers that radiate the signal. Fixing transmitter and/or antenna issues can be very expensive, and maybe that's the issue here. Curious that the station is for sale, but has such an awful on air sound. It's got poor 'curb appeal', leaving a potential buyer with a bad first impression.
What's WRKL's problem? Why not contact the gentlemen named above and ask? But take what he says with a grain of salt. He's the broker, after all.
On the other hand, maybe I've misinterpreted your questions. Are you looking for contributions of equipment for a broadcast museum?
