Infinity Gems Omnibus?
I am looking forward to getting all the Starlin work in a nice oversized collection. I am hoping for a Thanos Adamantium collection. I would only be interested in the Infinity $500 box if the pages are oversized, I think these books are all standard format? - 19 Replies

Actors who appeared in both Marvel and DC shows/movies
ok, lets for most obscure. John Davidson was in both the Captain America and Adventures of Captain Marvel movie serials. I know DC didn't own Captain Marvel at that point, but. - 40 Replies

Warlock Omnibus or Epic?
I am waiting for an adamantium edition of Jim Starlin stories. I would include the Captain Marvel and Warlock story arcs, plus a few extras. I like the idea of the oversized pages to show off the artwork. Short of that, I will stick to my reprint floppies. I am hoping the hype for the Thanos movie... - 27 Replies

FLASH TV Show Discussion
I was also thinking about the masked man being silenced by the mask. Johnny Thunder came to mind. If it's a speedster then maybe Johnny Quick or Max Mercury? - 2.1K Replies

Does anyone here have all of the DC Archives?
I have all the regular DC archives and the Sprit books. I have a few of the others but never considered them part of the collection. Over the years I all the old Russ Cochran EC library additions which includes the definitive (because it's larger) color reprints of Mad. I am sort of working on th... - 36 Replies

DC June 2015 Mini-Launch news
I think the bi-weekly idea is horrible. If it is just the Batman titles that is fine, because I don't follow any of them. Why can't they focus on many fewer titles and focus on story and art. Look at Green Lantern universe which was publishing weekly "effectively". It is not down to 3 titles, an... - 313 Replies

Comics that changed the industry
Another early and lame example of alternate covers was the first issue of Batman: Legend of the Dark Knight from 1989. It had an outer cover with 4 color variations. No different artwork, just color. - 112 Replies

Comics that changed the industry
how about these, others may check the accuracy, but I remember it this way. World of Krypton, first actual intentional mini-series Man of Steel 1, first variant cover with unique artwork, hoping to get people to buy both (I still hate this idea) Marvel Fanfare 1, first book with glossy paper As for ... - 112 Replies

Were the 100 Page Super Spectaculars of the 70's Ever Collected?
That was a very early comic for me as well. My copy was really hard to read because it had a bunch of extra duplicated pages in the middle. It must have been some type of Duplicate Girl variant. I guess my copy must be well over 100 pages, but I never counted. - 87 Replies

Winsor McCay, The Complete Little Nemo 1905-1927
I have the 6 volume Fantagraphic Little Nemo set from several years back. Can anyone tell me how the contents of the new book compare? Is one more complete than the other? Mike Grell's Maggie the Cat?
Grell did do the Tarzan Sunday's for a while. Some have been reprinted in one of the Blackthorne strip reprint books. They did 4 Tarzans by different artists. Vol. 4 was some by Gil Kane and some by Mike Grell. I had my copy signed by Grell at a convention. He had not seen the book, and seemed ... - 8 Replies
