That's what I initially thought, but according to Mike's Amazing World website, Booster Gold #10 and Blue Beetle #8, are the first post-Crisis appearances of those characters.

Indeed, pre-Byrne Superman guest starred in BG #6 & 7.

For Blue Beetle it’s external factors: The Question who guests in the BB #4-7 series is different from the one Denny later reinvisions in his own series. That type of minutia was important in the 1980s, but 30+ years later... eh...?  The Blue Beetle series itself (and any Omnibus collection that theoretically might come out now) is a unified work.
