I know you do Scott and I should have checked there first. For some reason I had gotten it into my brain that a 1/10 release date was a dead cert.

"Out For Delivery" means that my Wrightson AE is hopefully hitting my porch today.  I'm actually kind of excited.  Haven't bought anything like this for myself in a LONG while.
"Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil’s pawn. Alone among God’s
primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his
brother to possess his brother’s land. Let him not breed in great
numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him;
drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.”

The Wrightson tome is gorgeous.  I'm very happy with it.  Gave a small chuckle to see a number of pages that I had noticed up for sale on Ebay at various times.  I wonder how the negotiations for those scans went.

"Hi.  I noticed that you have some nice Wrightson art pages for sale online.  Would it be cool to get your address and stop by with all my scanning and photographic equipment and make some copies?  I promise I'll bring pizza and beer."

But in all seriousness, this one was a treat.  If we are ever lucky enough to get a volume 2, I would like to see  more bronze DC horror work, the Warren stuff, and Frankenstein if at all possible.

Now hoping I can manage to grab the Tomb of Dracula when it comes out.

Anyone pick up Frank Thorne's Ghita An Erotic Treasury Volume 1 Archival Edition? I'm looking at mine and the inked pages all look soft to me and I'm wondering if it's just my copy. Since I had the same issue with Dynamite's Frank Thorne Red Sonja volumes I'm also wondering if it's Thorne or someone doing all the scanning and supplying it. Something seems off.

For anyone that doesn't frequent the Marvel board, today's big news is that Marvel have regained the Conan comics licence.

I bet Scott is already making plans for his first Conan AE   😋

That's an easy answer for me... and If they do end up doing a Buscema book, I would prefer it be an Artifact Edition because there is so much great art of his out there from pages to sketches to commissions it would be a shame to limit it to a few complete stories

Buscema all the way for me. His is the definite Conan in my opinion. I also never really cared for BWS' Conan; too early in his career and thus too much Kirby-chunkiness (particularly in his faces). Plus his version just seems too noble, lacking that brutal, animalistic quality Buscema gave him. I much prefer BWS' takes on Conan later on, which - if memory serves me right - was only done in pin-ups. But boy, WHAT pin-ups.

Hello,
I would like to ask you a question.

I am interested in buying the Artist Edition of Spider-Man by J. Romita (Vol. 2) but I have seen on several websites that there are 2 different covers (attached).
Cover 1 is the current one (Spider-man surrounded by villains)
The cover 2 I have seen in several web pages and corresponds to ASM 110 (Birth of the Gibbon).
Could you tell me which one is the real one?

Thank you very much.

I believe cover 2 may have been the initial, solicitation image. http://www.idwpublishing.com/product/jo ... -volume-2/
