Hello,

on my Samsung S5 mini (stock ROM 6.01, rooted) I want to set a variable (bool), when I deactivate the Ultra Power Saving Mode (UPSM) and the system switches back to normal mode.
I tried this:

T: Battery Saver State:     Disabled
A: Set MacroDroid Variable:     UPSM active: false
C: MacroDroid Varibale:        UPSM active: true

but it didn't work (state doesn't change). Empty constraints also won't work.

For this alternative I can't find a working trigger:

T: ???
A: Set MacroDroid Variable:     UPSM active: false
C: Battery Saver State:     Disabled

Is there any way to figure out, whether the UPSM is activated or not in mormal mode?

Now I have noticed, that MD doesn't start a macro, when the Ultra Power Saving Mode is enabled and the display is switched off and locked.
Switched on but keeping locked allows the macro to start.
Is that a bug or a feature?

Presumably ultra power saving mode kills off things that are running in the background. Unfortunately MacroDroid cannot win a fight with the operating system.

As far as I know Ultra saving power mode is a Samsung specific feature and I'm afraid I don't support device specific features.
