Do you ever know about things before they happen?

I find that sometimes I do know about things before they happen.
Be it, something the LORD, gives me even if it is to reassure before the event or the things in your life.

How far would you put your trust in the things revealed?

LOVE the LORD thy God with all thine heart, mind, body, soul and strength.LOVE your neighbour as you LOVE yourself.. in this way you love me.

I can't say it happens to me, except that I can anticipate some events but nothing out of the ordinary, usually things that are fairly predictable anyway.

The afternoon before the events in Paris I was driving with my sister in the car. I knew something was going to happen in France where lives would be lost. I turned to my sister and told her and that it was definitely going to happen. Then I saw the Eiffel tower out of my left window and I told her was going to happen in Paris.

It was later that evening when we saw the news on returning home gone 11.pm when we saw it had come to pass.
I have had those premonitions before but a member of my family witnessed it at the actual time it occurred. I can be doing anything, including just driving.

It is rather strange because at present I can do nothing to prevent them.

LOVE the LORD thy God with all thine heart, mind, body, soul and strength.LOVE your neighbour as you LOVE yourself.. in this way you love me.

Not in the same league but last week I was thinking we need a new sofa.  I looked on the 'net at various places, like DFS, and made a shortlist.  The next day I had an email from someone I know slightly, who lives around the corner.  It had a picture of a sofa on it, very nice.  They downsized from a big house to a flat and bought a new, smaller sofa which they were told would be delivered in three weeks but then got a 'phone call from the shop saying the delivery was imminent.  They hadn't made arrangements for their existing three seater sofa (apparently a matching two seater one went to his sister), so sent the email to people they know asking if anyone was interested.

Well, I thought it was meant!

I asked John and he said it looked good, we'd go and see it Friday night, which we did.  Very nice indeed, good as new and comfortable.  He took measurements, I wanted assurance from him that it would go through the door and he said it would

Anyway, on Sunday John picked it up in his Range Rover, backed into our drive (nicking the passenger side front light of the Porsche, d'oh!).
We carried the sofa into our house - and it won't go through the sitting room door, nor any other door.

So - was it meant?  It all seemed so coincidental, me thinking of a new one and then this one being offered.
Not so sure now.
It is standing on one end in the hall.  My cat jumped up on it last night, perched there looking so regal, surveying the world below.  A rather elaborate cat toy I feel.
