I sent for a pack and one of our local pubs allowed me to host it and my friends helped run it.
Within the first two hours of the three hour morning we raised 350 and we have raffles still being sold in the pub through the day.
Will let you know what we finally raised. Been busy doing all sorts but looking forward to the raffle and an evening with friends tomorrow night.

My aunt did some cupcakes and I bought a wide selection of cakes to sell.
We had a really good time yesterday. I hope anyone who attended or helped host or organise the event did well.

:D

Excellent CYM.  I have great respect for the MacMillans and always support them.  Hadn't heard of coffee mornings around here though.

Hi  Cymnot,

It was done on the 28th September all over the UK, I believe.  :D

Just waiting for the last cheque which will make it a rounded 400 pounds raised.  I am pleased and so are the people who took part.
I won a bottle wine in the raffle and I won a wok set by from tv chinese chef range so did well.

I am in the middle of decorating and other things at present send me some prayer up will you please. It is good to see you and Andrew posting here.
I am really grateful you keep the games forum going.

xx Cym.

Me and Andrew ain't much good at anything else CYM.  Well done on raising so much money and congrats on winning the bottle and the wok.  It's fun to win something, even something small (actually better than winning lots of money).
You're a good egg.
