When logging on to the Lucent pension site at https://lucentpension.ingplans.com/eportal/welcome.do
it asks for the Social Security number. The Social Security Admin frowns on using the SSN as part of the login as outlined below. Can someone here tell me the right place to register a complaint about this practice?
Organizations should avoid using Social Security numbers (SSNs) as identifiers for any type of transaction. The SSN should only remain in a database as a secondary identifier. Organizations should exercise limited use of an individual’s SSN. For example, when it is necessary for a school to verify students’ identities when processing financial aid applications, use of an alternate identifier, other than the SSN, can reduce the risk of unauthorized disclosure of SSNs.

You're right that is a bad practice. On the login page, there's a link to a survey form. You (and others who read this) might click through and flag the "dissatisfied" choices and explain why.
