Meridan Health No Longer Particpates in UHC Secure Horizons

Meridan Health Health Hospitals in Central NJ will no longer be a participating provider In United Healthcare Secure Horizons. According to the link below, this decision does not affect any of United Healthcare's commercial products or plans. Can I assume that this does not affect those of us on A-Ls United Health Care Medicare Solutions plan?

The UHC web site provides a list of participants. The A-L provided plan is a group plan which is different from the marketplace plan. Check at https://www.uhcretiree.com/alcatel-lucent
to see who's who. It looks like Riverview is still part of the plan for example.

I agree. It looks like Meridian will still accept UHC PPO for A-L. However, someone in their system may reject the request to bill UHC PPO and I will have to explain to them that the cancellation of Secure Horizons by Meridian does not apply to UHC PPO. (Note: sorry that I had not logged in when I made the first post.)
