((I want to attempt to run an RP for everyone, without throwing my own characters in on the player side. A good old-fashioned D&D-style DMing (with no actual experience at it). XD Just going to set up the story, and see where everyone else takes it, while I control the neutrals and bad guys. I've got a loose storyline in mind, so let's see how it works.
Anyone can join, no real limit to how many people. I'll try to make things as clear as possible in each of my posts, and split the post up into sections if the group is separated. Here we go.))
The Amakna Village Zaap was swarmed by people of all kinds. They stood in groups, large and small, scattered across the clearing. A fight had broken out near the Zaap itself, between an Iop and an Ecaflip, over who had the longer tail. Most people were in agreement that the Ecaflip was the clear winner, but a small group of fellow Iops insisted that the Iop in this argument was in the right.
Small multicolored Piwis scurried away from a group of children that seemed intent on stepping on the birds, but no matter how many were crushed, there always seemed to be more. Some Piwis fought back, to little effect, but one managed to peck its way right through a Feca child's chest, sending him to the ground and causing the other children to run for their lives as the rest of the Piwis, invigorated by the lone Piwi's victory, chased them down in hordes.
Overall, a completely average day at the Zaap.
As Vincent Crow walked through the clearing, they overheard a trio of adventurers speaking in near-whispers.
"One of my connections told me about a new dragon sighted," the dark Sram said. "They didn't have a lot of info, but they said it was south of the Brakmarian cemetery."
"Isn't south of the cemetery just ocean?" the Sacrier asked.
The Cra shook his head. "What does it matter? It probably doesn't even exist. Hardly a point in going there."
The Sram grinned. "Ah, but what if it is there? And what if it has laid a Dofus? Or multiple? Imagine the power we'd have... That others wouldn't."
"The chances of it being real are almost zero. It's a waste of time," the Cra retorted.
"I don't know..." the Sacrier said. "If it is real, it'd be well worth it."
The Sram nodded. "My contact is reliable. If he says there was a dragon, then there was a dragon, or at least something that looked very similar to one."
The Cra ran his hands through his hair, beginning to look flustered. "What if it was just an Osamodas' Wyrmling? Or a Dreggon? Dreggons live near the Brakmar cemetery."
"He knows what Wyrmlings and Dreggons look like. It wasn't one of those," the Sram replied in a calm manner.
"Is it even your guy who saw it, or did he just hear it from someone else?" the Cra continued.
The Sacrier stepped in. "Let's just do it. If it's real, we've got it made. If it's fake, oh well. We move on. We're not going to be able to take on a dragon with just the three of us, though, that's the problem. We need help."
The Sram nodded. "Agreed. Let's go to the tavern. I'm sure we can recruit some suckers there, tell them we found a stash of jewels and magic items or something. Wouldn't be a total lie. Heck, we can just tell the truth and kill them after the dragon is down, if we want."
The Sacrier and Sram made their way out of the clearing, towards the Amakna tavern. The Cra followed them in reluctance, leaving Vincent in the crowds of the Zaap.
((So there you go. Multiple people can say they overheard the conversation, if they want to go different ways. Or only one person can have heard it, they can tell others, and they can team up or have different ideas on what to do... All up to everyone else. I'm just going to play storyteller. I hope this RP can go places. XD))
Vincent-Crow remained silent while hearing an unusual conversation that wasn't so far from him. The man frowned and muttered to himself ''a dofus...near the brakmarian's cemetery?...why in the world--'' his voice shut when the trio decided to go anyway, even if it may be a big waste of time and effort. The eniripsa blanked out for a moment and thought I have nothing to loose anyway...I've already lost everything that mattered to me so...maybe then... Vincent frown once more and shook his head while glancing back from above his shoulder, his eyes glared at the yougner fellow that finally catches up with the man ''Its about time you arrived! I was starting to wonder if you were lost between the zaap dimension...''
The smaller eniripsa blinked with a concern look ''lost...between zaaps?! Oh that would be awful! I don't even want to think of how it must feel...'' his voice trembling with worriness while kicking the ground, feeling alittle ashamed for making the man worrying about him. His eyes grows bigger when he asked ''Did something happened while you were waiting for me here Vince? When I was walking to you I noticed that you didn't seem to be all here in your head~'' he clapped and made a few steps back, expecting being hit because of what he just said.
Vincent-Crow blinked but didn't answered him yet, after several seconds later the man nodded and pulled the other eniripsa's hand while walking away ''Lets go, we have to catch up with them now...and don't call me Vince! Your getting too familiar with me and you know I hate that...''
Ion couldn't help but giggling when he knew that it was annoying the man already, he blinked and tried on pulling himself back when his hand was grabbed on ''Wait what?! Catching up with who? Am I not supposed to be aware of where WE are going now?!'' his voice stammered but Ion was obviously too weak to let off his grabbed.
