Like to begin a novena to St. Jude for Summer/Elizabeth? I have always been convinced that St. Jude and the holy Virgin's intercession allowed me to have my children. This is one that I used:

I'm not Catholic anymore, but I work with very devout folks who I'm sure would do this for her. And I'll do it too, because it doesn't really matter to G-d if you're Catholic or Muslim or agnostic. We'll do it tomorrow at our faculty prayer.

HI Maggie,
Could you print the prayer here if you don't mind as I"ve not got one 'handy'. I said a Novena to have R and my sister did one to have her little guy. My mother said it also to have my sister and I.
I always recall my mother saying 'be careful what you ask for as they are never known to fail'.
I know Summer needs prayers now but I"le also include all green gals as well (they are always in my prayers), best, THK

I am not Catholic but I love all Religions and this speaks to me. Of course I will say it. It helps me find words when I am having trouble finding them in sadness in this time. Thank you!

St. Jude is what I called my patron Saint always on my mind and in my heart. Thank you for renewing the spirit of St. Jude in me. Praying for Summer/Elizabeth...

I am not RC, but I am Lutheran. I believe in the power of prayer, and sometimes saying the familiar words are very comforting.

What a great idea. I really like this prayer. I am Catholid and do find novenas helpful. My "patron" saint is St. Anthony --I asked him to put in a good word for Summer and her little ones as well. And like you Maggie, Mary is always on my list. As with all of us, Summer is never far from my thoughts. I keep asking G-d to hold all of them in the palm of his hand.

Saint Jude is commonly known as the patron saint of lost or difficult causes, but he is actually the patron saint of hope. I pray to Saint Jude constantly for my Peter and wear a Saint Jude medal (lapsed Catholic, but in my personal view, God could care less how we define ourselves but is rather interested in how well we love each other) in his memory.

I went into labor at 23 weeks with my twins and they held on until week 32. Anything can happen. Praying that only good things will for Summer and her babies.
