Something about your history. I'm sorry if you've posted it before and I missed it. Why are you using DE? Did you have recurrent m/c? Have you done immune testing? Were both these cycles fresh cycles? It just helps the ladies on the board to make suggestions. {{Hugs}} Maggie (in VA)

I did this whole long post and it wouldn't post.

This is our second donor (she is proven 3 times including us) our last donor gave us no eggs.

I have NK's and do interlipids twice once before transfer once after.

This batch of eggs gave us our son 9 months ago. we still have 14 frozen.

We had a chemical in Jan

I know it's a big disappointment.

Go hug your little one... that should make you feel less angry

Hi,

Very sorry that you got another BFN. I see that you've tried intralipids. What dose? I ask because the standard does which is just 4% of the solution is often not enough. My RE uses 100% of the solution and has found that it is just as effective as using IVIG. I'm also curious as to whether or not you also tried Lovenox and steroids too? Lovenox because eleveated NK cells can cause clotting. My other thought is to ask whether or not you have been tested for a full thrombophilia blood clotting panel?

Hi Karen,
Saw you tried to post on the pink but I couldn't read it.
Hey keep trying with your frozen embies. I know this will be difficult but your donor has a good track record so it is most likely only a matter of time.

Have your bloods done again to see how the NK cells are before you do another cycle.
I write this even though it is obvious because I had immune issues, took steroids, but then when I went to cycle again (after failures) my doctor told me I didn't need to use them. I got my only positive that cycle and we had a son.
Bloods do change and I"m hoping this is the case for you.

It must be very difficult having had a positive (and then a babe) to start again in a way. I know my sister did this and it was hard on her. It will be ok.
See how you go, best, THK

The financial and logistical considerations for this poster were somewhat different than yours as she is using a GC, but she was pondering whether to do CGH on her frozens. With CGH so expensive, it's a hard decision (hence my initial response that it didn't seem worthwhile, but your situation is also different in that you have a child from that cycle and are going for a sibling), but so is having repeated BFNs and m/c's.

Good luck!

Went through something similar, I had a stash of 10 embryos after having one child from the batch.

With 14 embryos left though, that is a lot of potential.
Are these embryos blasts?
How were they graded? Did they already use the "best" graded embryos for the fresh and FETs?
What are the clinic stats for FET?

In my case I was able to figure out that it was indeed an embryo issue that caused my FETs to fail, it wasn't me and I did not need further immune treatments. I had to do another fresh cycle with the same donor.

This must be frustrating. There really aren't words, but I am thinking of you.
