Thanks for thinking of me, BT! Still status quo. 11 measurable yesterday. Retrieval is tomorrow (Sunday). We live 2 hours from the clinic, so we'll just set out and see what happens. We're both in a pretty good mental place. Tomorrow, we'll either start making a baby or we'll have a nice day trip to DC. Out of our hands.

I'm not religious, but I find it very interesting that we're hoping for a bounty of eggs on Easter. My DH's uncle, a deeply devout Episcopal priest who is fully informed of our plans and very supportive, thinks the timing is auspicious. I hope he's right!

The weekend nurse who called today said they won't know the final count of eggs until the afternoon b/c they retrieve them and then need to "strip" them, whatever that means. So all the eggs retrieved may not be good. So we may not even know until after DH has made his "deposit" whether we're a go or not.

I'll let you know! Thanks so much for your support, it means a lot!

Hope you're having a great weekend, and Happy Easter if you celebrate it.

Thinking of you!!
So there were only 7 mature eggs. 14 were retrieved, but not all good ones.

We are disappointed, but ok.

Back to the drawing board tomorrow, looking for a new donor.

Thanks for your support, everyone. It warms my heart.

I'm so sorry HiD...
I've been where you are and as upsetting as it was to get that far (I certainly cried bitter tears,) I also felt a sense of relief about the drama of that cycle being over. I hope you have some of that too. And one day, when you are holding your baby in your arms, you'll be grateful this cycle didn't pan out

((hugs)) How disappointing. Will they give you a new password immediately? Will you get the primary spot next pick? You should.
