I am 5 weeks 3 days along and in the wait between good betas and the ultrasound. I actually POAS last night to make sure that I am still pregnant. I do have a nagging discomfort, wouldnt call it AF pain, nor sharp or anything I would take medicine for. But of course it worries me. Its been there for 1.5 weeks, all thru the rising strong betas. But still, there was part of me worried I wasnt pregnantt since last beta was fri 11/25, so I POAS! It was still positive, but I felt a little crazy. It did make me feel better, which is what the goal was, so I think I would do it again. Maybe I should buy a multipack of tests....

to POAS for reassurance. I'll probably do the same thing at least with the tests I still have in my medicine cabinet.

Hang in there, JAMS!

I got pregnant I POAS almost every other day. I subsequently MC'd (a spontaneous pg w my OE so I knew, after five previous MCs, that the likely hood of success was slim)even though the sticks were still detecting HCG.

That said, if you don't mind paying for them and it gives you comfort to see the line on the stick and it "gets you through to the US", I say go buy and economy box of them.

Don't be embarrassed. I figured that if my emby died, there would still be enough Hcg in my system for a while to get a positive on a pee stick, so I didn't do that -- LOL, still have a "lucky" pee stick in my linen closet. I swear, when I walked out of my OB/GYN's office, there was a part of me that wanted to rush back in and tell the tech, "Show me the babies again; I just have to make sure they're OK." Take care, Maggie (in VA)

Hi ya,
When you are pg you get aches and pains in the usual and the oddest of places. Sometimes you feel like you are getting AF but believe me you are not. sometimes your boobs hurt and other days they don't. It is all part of it.
Your body is 'rewiring' in preparation for the babe and this causes a lot of odd aches and pains. Try not to worry, best, THK
